Job Title:
Senior Sales Executive/Engineer
Job Scope:
To drive sales growth by managing industrial clients, developing new business opportunities, and promoting Euro-Tech’s geared motors, gear units, and rotating equipment services. This role requires technical knowledge, strong relationship management, and the ability to support tenders, site visits, and project discussions while achieving revenue and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely and professional communication.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial customers.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions.
2. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries (manufacturing,ports,chemical, water and etc.).
- Manage and expand accounts through proactive engagement.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales, order intake, and margin targets
3. Technical & Commercial Proposals
- Conduct product sizing/selection for gear units and geared motors.
- Prepare technical-commercial proposals, and compliance documentation.
- Lead tender participation including submission, clarifications, and negotiations.
4. Site Visits & Project Pursuit
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and technical briefings to support sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with Service/Production teams on inspections, overhauls, assembly schedules to meet client's timelime.
- Promote Euro-Tech’s service and factory capabilities during customer interactions.
5. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Gather and analyze market insights on competitor pricing, specifications, and strategies.
- Recommend actions to strengthen Euro-Tech’s positioning in the market.
- Stay updated on industry developments and customer investment trends.
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of proposals, communications, and project follow-ups.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal SOPs in all sales processes.
- Support reporting requirements and maintain CRM discipline
7. Reporting & Forecasting
- Submit weekly activity reports, opportunity pipelines, and forecast updates.
- Track quote-to-win ratio, pipeline coverage, and order intake performance.
- Contribute to monthly business reviews with management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering (preferred) or Sales/Business related.
- 5–8 years’ experience in industrial sales, preferably heavy industries.
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical drives, rotating equipment.
- Proven record in tendering, negotiations, and project sales.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable with frequent client site visits.
